Alzheimer’s Association

The largest international health organization for Alzheimer’s disease care, support and research, Alzheimer’s Association has trained clinicians available on its help line 24/7 to answer questions and provide useful information and advice for caregivers.

Caregiver Action Network

Caregiver Action Network offers a comprehensive list of general local and national caregiver organizations and numerous tools and resources that cover a wide range of caregiving issues and duties, such as traveling with seniors, end-of-life planning and respite care.

California Caregiver Resource Centers

California’s Caregiver Resource Centers is a statewide network of support organizations for caregivers that offer every California resident free access to a wide range of useful information and services to make caregivers lives easier.

California Department of Aging

Family Caregiver Support Program services for family caregivers are provided through local area agencies on aging (AAAs) and include educational resources, individual counseling, support groups, respite care and caregiver training.

Family Caregiver Alliance

Family Caregiver Alliance is the original community-based organization in America, offering several programs at national, state and local levels to support and sustain caregivers.

National Alliance for Caregiving

A nonprofit coalition of 50 national organizations that focus on family caregiving, the alliance works to improve the lives of families, caregivers and care recipients through research, legislation and by bringing the importance of caregiving to the forefront of public awareness.

The Aging Life Care Association

The Aging Life Care Association helps families access the assistance of professionals who can guide them through all the paths of caregiving. from medical care to housing options to legal advice to reduce stress on the caregivers and care recipients.
