With more than 20 years of experience providing risk management, safety, and legal advice in the senior housing and healthcare industries, Christian brings expertise in the areas of accident theory, systemic failures, and how culture and team work can minimize risk.

In addition to being a licensed attorney, he holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Science degree in health services administration. Christian also serves as a faculty member for several San Diego universities where he teaches courses in risk management, quality improvement, and health law.

Christian oversees all risk and legal services for Oakmont Management Group, including risk financing and insurance, claim management, incident reporting, and loss control. He works with leadership and outside counsel on legal, operational, and financial matters.

Christian also regularly trains employees on loss control techniques to minimize liability exposure, and provides oversight for resident safety, employee safety, and compliance initiatives.
