Armando Fregoso

Executive Chef

Chef Armando Fregoso started cooking at about age 9. He would help his mother make Spanish rice. “Stir the rice, don’t let it burn,” she’d say. Years later he went to culinary school in Pasadena, CA while working at the Velvet Turtle. With the work ethic and drive instilled in him by his parents, Armando quickly rose through the ranks to Chef. After 16 years in restaurants, Chef Armando started working in senior living 15 years ago. He has been an Executive Chef for Oakmont since 2017. Chef Armando loves spending his spare time with good friends, his beautiful family and amazing food.
