The Oakmont Experience
My mother lives here. I wish I did. It’s like a resort! The best thing is the food, it’s always really tasty and the portion sizes are just right. The next thing that’s great about it is the location. The dining room on the third floor and many of the rooms have a beautiful view of the Oakland estuary. It’s a very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac, but is also within walking distance for many of target, Safeway, Lucky, CVS drugstore, and many other places. Of course there’s also a shuttle bus that takes people where they need to go. The staff is very responsive, and everybody is so nice!

Oakmont of Cardinal Point is lovely. They have great amenities, and they have a good program for the residents with many things to do. It's beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Everyone I've met there so far was very friendly, even as I observed other guests interacting with staff. They have weekly activities, a game room, a movie room, a sauna, an exercise room, a pool, and a beautiful inner courtyard. They do weekly outings, and they will take you to your doctor. Everyone eats in the dining room and it's lovely. They seem to have something going on all the time.
